What is
For The Nations?
For the Nations DC is a nonprofit ministry serving English language learners and their children in the Washington, DC, area.
We teach English to adults three days per week and offer child care for children ages 0 to 5 years old. We love engaging with students outside of class, whether it is sharing a meal or helping them navigate life in the United States. We unashamedly proclaim the gospel as the only hope of healing for the brokenness we all experience.
When I came to the USA, I was scared. I was scared to walk into the church... then I met these people... you people... you are friends and you care for me. You have shown me that Christians do not hate us. Christians love us.
