Meet Jose...

Jose is a new student at FTN. He is from an indigenous community in Guatemala and has had almost no education. He has been in the US for many years and travels to wherever he can find work (including a stint in my home state of Nebraska!). He is now eager to learn English since his current coworkers in construction all speak English.

When I first met Jose during testing last week, Jose would look down at the table when I asked him about his life or his education. He quietly told me that he was foolish as a boy and made many bad choices. Please pray that Jose will come to know the peace of Christ this year and be welcomed into the arms of a Savior who does not look on him in shame.
