Meet Norma

I'd like to introduce you to some of my new students this year....

Norma is a student originally from Peru. She has almost no English and has only been in the States for 9 months. She came for work, leaving her little one back in Peru with her family. Three months into her time in the US, she fell from a construction site, breaking her clavicle and 5 vertebrae. A young and energetic woman, her life was forever changed. She came to the US for work, but following extensive surgery, she can no longer work. So now, she is taking advantage of this change in life by choosing to learn English. Please pray for Norma that she will learn English quickly, that her daughter and parents can join her soon here in the US, and that her healing will continue through physical therapy.
